1985 D Penny With An Extra Long One One The Reverse

I have this 1985D cent with an extra long ONE on the reverse. on the reverse pic to the left of the C in cent there is a crack in the penny. I have never seen this before. What do you all think?

I suppose it could be some Die Deterioration, that can "stretch" it out sometimes, but I think possibly it was an alignment issue as well.

@Jim0815, yes interesting. Can you please post a close-up of the "crack"? I'm wondering whether it is above or below the surface of the coin.
