Has the Forum discussed the experimental rinse "error" being shown by some You-Tubers ?
It results in a dull coppery finish unlike the normal brilliant gold appearance.

I have read that the Mint tested an "experimental rinse" on 2000 and 2001 dollars to reduce damage such as tarnishing to the coins.

From what I have heard, the 2000 experimental rinse dollar is much rarer than the 2001.

The mint would be better off not sending those junk zinc cents into circulation! And why worry about dollar coinage that never makes it because the public will not support the program. Too big, Too small, always a problem

experimental rinse was blamed for many years of ASE spotting and clouds.

What did they blame the milk spots on Franklins, Kennedys, and Ikes on?

Yes, discussed a few times in the past on CCF. If you use the search box in the upper left hand part of your screen with the keywords EXPERIMENTAL RINSE, you will find them. Also, here is a link to a pretty good explanation of the experimental rinse (compliments of @john1):
