Can You Help Identify This Israeli Token Or Commemorative?

Seeker55 Pillar of the Community United States 634 Posts	Posted 12/30/2017 9:33 pm This is a lightweight aluminum token or commemorative, 20 mm diameter, with a scalloped edge. It looks the same as a regular Agorah coin except that it is undated and says "MITE" on one side and has the letters LWML running both down and across on the other. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Perhaps these tokens were made to support one of their projects? Mite would be in reference to the ancient tiny coin called a Widow's Mite. I looked up the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and see that they have "mite boxes" to collect donations. So it would make sense that they could have a "mite" minted.
