Ok so is this a start of a Cud or what could it be it is all raised and it goes out into the field so I would be correct in calling it a Cud this time but yes if not what could it be?

Looks like it's part of a finning that's stretched over the field...is coming off the offset area,

I see what it is. The die actually stamped that from the inside edge of the rim, see where it's connected to each siDe?

Boy, got the really oddball errors going on tonite! Neat!

Kind of looks like a Retained Cud. The area looks displaced.

Don't let me confuse you Mrzllewellyn. I'm just throwing ideas out. It's probably what Crazyb0 said. He's good at figuring out this stuff.

Looks like the cladding is missing. What does the opposite side look like?

As to a Cud,It would be called a pre-cud but I do not think that is what it is. I am thinking a struck through debris.Let's wait for coop.

The color looks like cladding is present. The other image made me wonder if it was missing. Thus the image for the reverse image. But looks normal. I was wondering if it was a partial clip planchette. But it is starting to now look like a rim Cud. It might be part of a new light die crack? Take an image with the light at a different angle. That might show if it is raised or not?

It looks like a Retained Die Break ( Cud) as it is entering into the fields. You can see how the piece moved a little (displacement) and there's small Die Breaks on the rim surrounding it under the Retained Die Break. That's my thought. I do not think it is a Finned Rim. Great find!

With the new pics it does look raised, so not a struck through.
