Because of the location and cause would be called a break. The post inside the device broke off first then kept expanding deeper into the device(letter).

Keep telling ya to think in the reverse, mirror imaged. If your married, your wife already thinks you do!

Joe has it correct. The post that forms the center of the device has broken away from the die. It even took the die a bit deeper leaving a raised area in the center. Thus the reason it is taller than the device.

I never made the connection between coin hunting errors and being married until now, thanks Crazyb0!

I am never right according to my wife and occasionally wrong here (okay, more often than not).

Every morning, same routine..."Honey I am sorry for whatever stupid things I will say or do today, I was born with an Adam's Apple and realize I am wrong."

Try it guys, 3 grown kids and 5 grandkids so far, it has worked for me for years!

Free Advice is worth what you pay for it!

Thanks for the diagnosis OldJoeClark and the visuals coop!
Rest in Peace

Good education for everyone. With errors, sometimes the most immediate answers fly the Coop, and land in the Crazy wilderness.
