@pennyray, it is a little hard to tell from these pics, but yes there may be a die crack at about 7 o'clock on the rev. Looks like it originates at the corner of the lowest step and then passes through the first O of MONTICELLO, before connecting with the E in UNITED. I can't tell if it makes it all the way to the rim. Nice find!

You're at about an AG/G on that, basic silver melt value of <$1. This where the crack seems to be? Is a normal location

Not sure if that is a crack or a well circulated lamination issue.
Very common place with the Silver Nickels of the 1940's.

I'm not sure either. Die cracks and lams are somewhat common on War Nickels. Most of the die cracks I've seen run from the US area of PLURIBUS down to Monticello, but more often jog right than left.
