Please try to orient your pics correctly - very difficult to examine them as shown.

Sorry! I don't know why it did that. The pictures were taken with the nickel facing the right way, and the originals are still that way. Plugged them into the optimizer and it rotated them all 90 degrees. Thought about then editing them in my phone but worried it would up the file size again.

Is there a way to delete topics you have started?

Yeah definitely might as well delete it if possible. Tried to just rotate the images in my phone and they are back up over 300. Worried if I try optimizing again even if it works it will have degraded the image twice making the whole process pointless

You should have a garbage can icon at the end of the bar above your post.

Too bad it is damaged. This could have been a better grade, die state coin.

I'm so new to this, please excuse my ignorance. By "die state coin" you mean it was one minted early on in the lifespan of a die? Is that why the detail stands out so well?

I don't have another same mint and year. On the one from Denver that I compared to everything looked flatter. If that's the right term. Less defined if not smaller.

I feel that it is the case. Earlier die states are often thought of as doubled dies. How can I tell. The fields are very nice. The devices don't appear worn, no die imperfections, a coin that really smiles in a picture. If you find some that are not damaged, then they are a keeper in my book.
