Everyone I've been checking out NZ Trademe like ebay in the coin area and I saw this one of Antoninus Pius for sale and also a Denarius of Lucilla and I'm wondering if they look alright or if they are Cast fakes? Here's the links: https://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-...5d95016bd0d7. https://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-...5d95016bd0d7.

@Dr.W, they just look really worn to me, but the Roman collectors will weigh in too I'm sure. By the way, I'm glad to see that you finally got your avatar!

Both look legit to me, but the price seems above market even at NZ$ price given how worn they are.
Pius is plentiful in better grades for the same money.

The Antonius Pius looks like it could be RIC 288. I am a rookie at attributing ancients though and could be way off.

What do you think...http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/..._pius/i.html

The Lucilla is a little more worn and a little herder for me to pin down.

As for authenticity, I will leave that to the pros.

Both look fine, but I agree slightly overpriced. The Antoninus Pius has a decent portrait, but I would expect to pay $5-10 less than the minimum bid for a coin in that shape.

They both look fine, though I agree with the others based on condition over priced.

I agree, they look fine, but overpriced.
This is a Hadrian I got for about $25USD.I also have a Pius as well for about the same price. I have, however, overpayed for some coins. My advise, do your research and then buy.
