If so, do they notify the OP? Edited by USSID18 01/06/2018 7:13 pm

They will - when necessary - edit.
AFAIK they always note this in the post in green text.

Agree - doesn't happen often, but always with a good reason.

Yes, usually in green, unless it's a bad violation, then it's in red.
An example of what will get you red is deliberately bypassing the bad word filter to post something not allowed. You'll get this...
*** Edited by Staff | The bad word filter is in place for a reason. Bypassing the filter and making the intended word obvious anyway is completely unacceptable. ***

I have a post out there that's been changed twice on me without any reason, explanation or indicator. Can you explain that?

Someone keeps changing my UBL's to OBL's.
Or was it auto correct? If so, why would that be happening?
BTW, if it was auto correct the above UBL's would have been changed by now. So, someone changed it.
Do you know who or why it was changed bobby131313?

Well, I'm not sure what happened, but it has been staying.
We have entries in the bad word filter that sometimes have "false positives" that we have to tweak, like when a word fits in another word but there's nothing I can see.
Another Internet mystery for now.
