I say this because this die is riddeled with cracks in later die stages. Mine has one that verifies it for me. I threw in a wexlers comparison pic. What do y'all think? It may be a new die state! I'm not seeing anything other than a reverse die crack, which remember thet may be paired with another obverse die than a DDO one. I see no DDO on date, no rotational size increase. The reverse dot isn't "ovaled", so what are you referencing? Report this Post to the Staff
stoneman227 Pillar of the Community United States 2376 Posts	Posted 01/07/2018 3:33 pm The mintmark on your coin is further south than on 1940-S 002 . Not the same obverse. If the reverse is ddr-002 then that would be interesting. Report this Post to the Staff
