Googling around, I don't think anything like this is available online, but I'd rather piggyback if such a resource is available.
Part of my 2018 goals is to be more organized, which I hope to accomplish through organizing my coins into 20-coin binder pages filled with flips. I don't really like cardboard flips, and likewise I don't like 2x2 info cards in saflips, which would require me to take the coin out to see the reverse. My proposed solution is to divide each page of the album with a printed page in a page protector, with grid lines and basic ID info on the coins. These aren't going to be run-of-the-mill coins (Japanese type set and a hodgepodge of ancients, mostly) so the template will need to be fairly customizable.
Anyone aware of such a template? If not, I'll be tinkering to make one, and upload it here for posterity.

I think this is a good idea and it will look great. My very first 2x2 album was a generic "Coins of the World" binder with such pages; pre-printed with images and text for various world coins and spaces between for various extras.
You should be make to make one really easily. I would probably do one in a spreadsheet, to make the grid lining easier.

Honestly never tried designing a printable document in excel, but it's worth a shot. I'll play around and see if that's a viable plan of action.
My initial plan of action was to make a 4x5 table in Word, and tweak padding until it looks presentable. I'm also planning on making print-friendly info pages to go at the end of the binder, which I'll also make available here for anyone who wants them.

I used Microsoft Powerpoint to create something similar. I have a Canadian Quarter collection that I placed in a blank Dansco quarter album. I printed a sheet for each page that went opposite (to the left) of each Dansco coin page. With a little practice I was able to match the hole size and location of each opening on the Dansco page. And then I annotated each hole on the printed page with a description of the associated coin. I used this method for a while until a bought a label maker and then placed labels on the Dansco page beneath each coin. I've attached a copy of what one of the printed pages looks like.  |

With 20 pockets use every other slot for the coins description. Only 10 coins per page but it would be easy to do and completely customizable.

Like This? Do info on one and put in blank page binder adjacent to the page of coinc.   I use MS Paint to open the .jpg then type on the Bitmap file, can be printed out as well. Edited by Crazyb0

Moxking's idea makes a lot of practical common sense:
only 10 coins per page, if the coins are all crown sized.
there is less stress on the page binder holes,
and
you don't have to flip the page to read the description under the coin,
as well:
full description alongside each coin.

Great ideas, all! I'll have to play around and see what makes sense for my collection. I have about 200 binder pages and hundreds of sheet protectors to tool around with, but I think I am going to stick with my current layout for the Japanese coins (they fit nice and near on the page) but maybe work with Moxking's suggestion for coins that need clear ID info.
Also, @Mont, that is what I'm looking for, but since I am using sheet protectors, I think I'm going to design my own to get the extra page real estate back that you have for the binder ring holes.

I am also interested in this topic and am enjoying the templates that have been shared so far. I am wondering if anyone else has some. I am also considering a page that has some information about each set on it (years they were minted, who designed it, etc.).
