OK...here is my magic wand designing a coin product. it is pretty much a combination of what I like in the storage/display areas of coins: I like Snap-Tites (2x2's) and 2x2 Intercept Sheilds...BUT when you get into the larger coins like dollars, there is no room for the item description. So I would want a mini-slab (just smaller than the ANACS size in length) that would measure 2 inches by 2.5 inches with Intercept Shield protection AND snap locking dowl pins (or something like this) so once the two plastic sides are snapped together, it can't be opened unless you take a pair of pliers to it (or some tool). Once these two non-PVC long term clear materials are snapped together, the coin is secure, doesn't rattle and provides both decent protection as well as display purposes. The additional 1/2 inch in length would be long enough to insert/adhere a printed label with date, mint-mark, denomination, and mintage numbers on the obverse where you can insert anything you want for the reverse label (inventory codes, costs codes, etc.). So there you have it...the combination of an ICG Intercept Shield protected slab, ANACS size, Coin World labeling, Snap-Tite ease, and Capital Plastics screw-n-lock all in one! Who plans to make it? I'll buy it!

A few come to mind.
An inventory program that is easy to use, with an easy way to update values, photos, and inventory control.
A coin safe designed with the intercept technology.
A better display system.
I could go on and on, but wouldn't want to give too much away ;-)

How 'bout an erasable/re-writeable 2x2? I know I sometimes screw up when I'm writing on them and have to remove the coin and start over. Can't stand to have any scribbles on my 2x2's- besides my own hieroglyphic handwriting (say that three times fast! ) that is. Of course you'd have to come up with a way to make the ink not smear.... Avery also makes removable labels so that you wouldn't even have to deal with 2 or 3 labels piled on top of each other.

Ok...how about a product called 'Label Once'? these are erasable labels that has many different uses and comes in various sizes. And you don't need to place another label if you need to change the information... just erase and start over... http://store.erasable.com/index.html

Hi All As per my post about labels, I sent a suggestion to the company and their response was: --------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, Thank you for the suggestion. What particular type (shape, size, imprinting, etc.) of label would coin collectors find useful? ------------------------------------------------------------------So guys any suggestions you may have let me know and I'll pass it along. By the way I've use their labels for labeling my video's, floppies, CD's, etc.

How about circle labels sized to fit the tops of rolls that could be run through a computer. How about matching side labels as well.
How about 3/8" square removable labels that can be used as pricing labels on 2x2".
There's my suggestions.
