Hard to tell from your pics but I would just guess Environmental toning of some sorts!

@CM can you please weigh your coin? If it is missing a layer of metal, then I would think it would be significantly underweight.

Ok well it weighs the right amount, so seeming is a full planchet. I wonder--why did you think the clad layer was missing? Perhaps when you looked at the edge, you didn't see that thin ribbon of copper?

has a dark tone and when you tip it around it has a bluing like on a gun ,or silver ?reminded me of the pink quarter from the late 80's.i have some somewhere i'll try to get pics and post.
