One of my favorite error types are clipped planchet coins, and recently found a lot of 16 LMCs for about a dollar each so I added them to my collection. 14 are single clip, the 15th has a small second clip, and the 16th has 2 beautiful clips. It's the last one that got me looking harder, because it is a 1970s, and I really can't tell if it is the small date or not, based on some info I found online it could be either way.

Your picture of the 1970-S is a little dark, so can't see if the numbers are in line or not.
But here is a reference site: http://www.Lincolncentresource.com/...alldate.html

You're going to need a whole book just for clips. Fun pickup.

While sorting all of those clips in with the ones I already have in my collection, I came across this one which made me laugh.

This is still in the flip from when I bought it years ago, and yes I see they wrote down the wrong mint mark on the flip. So now I have a double clip and a triple clip from 1970, both s, and looks like both large date. If I find a single clip one I am going to put the three of them together in one of those flips that holds three penny sized coins.
Just realized they did not spell "triple" correctly, I really need to get it into a new flip.

When you do, make sure that you flatten those staples. Otherwise, they can scratch the coin in an adjacent 2x2.
