That might be what you see here. Not saying that this isn't a RPM, but keep the broken punch in mind as well. Edited to add image. Not the same MM displacement, but for reference. This stood out because (IMO) it is clearly an RPM by any other year/mintmark but most of the attributions so far deal with the west side of the mintmark. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff
Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 01/12/2018 12:37 pm I'm gonna say MD AND broken punch, here's why. The "extra" post inside is at the wrong vertical angle to sync with the outer flatten mark, one is CW like the broken punch, other is CCW of MD...motion being NE. this would also take out the upper portion inside vertical. Note they are all the same color indicating that it is flat in those areas. If it were a RPM, the devices would show the normal contour color of the devices: Now take another look at the OP's image. Note the same color? That area is flatten after the strike. So this is a normal mint mark for this year. MD Report this Post to the Staff
