to the forum! That is damaged. Possibly caused from a vending machine or coin rolling machine. Parts of the devices get pushed and left parallel to the rim.

Might have been a random hit that pushed the metal sideways as well. to the CCF!

It is parallel to the rim. So something was turning the coin creating the altered device.

Quote: I have never seen this before I agree a little unusual, but we see several examples posted here on CCF each week. I hope that you stick around to see some other examples being posted.

I value every opinion, thats why I came here, but after having viewed this coin under a 30x loupe, there is no visible signs of this coin being damaged by a rolling machine nor a vendinding machine, that would indicate the letter was just shoulved over to the position it is in right now, any other opinions id love to hear ;)

First Second take a look where I have pointed you can see the line where the O use to be meaning it is damaged we typically see this from vending machines but it very well could have been a well placed hit as well either way it is damaged and has no premium sorry

You can see similar damage on the lower end of the right wheat head. Possible from the same thing that damaged the O.

It looks like a hit to me, albeit an old one where the original signs of field damage have worn away. to the CCF!
