Thanks for all the info I received from the cute, little 1963D penny I found from circulation. Certainly, I can make a very good notation on my coin collection book for the 1963D penny. Too, I found a 1972P penny. While reading the suggested "dummies" PDF files by Crazyb0 (thanks), the 1972P cent was mentioned on page 5. Here's what I found in my collection.

Looks like that cent had a hard life, with lots of PMD.

Thanks Fuzzy317 for the transfer and PMD comment. I looked up for the PMD definition and I really am learning a lot from your website. You are right, this coin went through hardtimes. I think I will give it a place to rest in my coin collection after I put together the comments. Happy coin hunting!
