So I was told a few things to look for in MD was flat, shelf like, metal flowing toward the outer rim and the device getting smaller.
When I look at this I see the doubling moving toward the center from SE to NW with contour shadows and looking into the zero on the date I see 3 layers which seem to be enlarging. Thoughts?

Note on the outline of the digits. The die was probably polished down leaving now a raised area around the digits. The upper part of the digits looks like it may have gotten damaged while ejected from the chamber. The strikes happen very fast. Several per second.
