I have this medieval coin which I can't identify yet...
One side has a portret and face looking towards you. The other side a long cross. I though perhaps Clermont or bourgondy. But I can't find it yet. The lyrics are part visible but I can't notch it to an specific mint or?
How about a dobler from Mallorca, minted under Jaime (James) III (1324-1344)? The obverse shows his bust, with REX MAIORICARVM around, the reverse a long cross with IACOBUS DEI GRACIA ;)
