First two are Ethiopia. I've got that one and it took me a while until I found it! The ones with the eagles on will likely be Syria or Egypt. Check a Krause for the specific ones. It also helps if you know the numbers. The thing that looks like an egg is a 5 and the dots are 0's. That helps narrow down which denomination you want.

#1 and #2: Ethiopia, 1 cent (or santeem) dated 1936 in the Ethiopian Era calendar (= 1944 AD). These coins were struck with this "frozen date" from 1944 right up to the overthrow of the monarchy in 1974.

#3 and #4: bimetallic Egyptian pounds; #3 looks like 2005, #4 2007.

#5: Hard to see, but I assume it's Egypt 1 millieme, only issued in 1972. Made of aluminium, right?

#6: The eagle on this coin is the distinctive symbol of the United Arab Republic, a brief political union of Syria and Egypt (though Egypt continued to use the name of the Union until 1971). This coin is a 1 millieme, only issued in 1960.

#7: the triple stars on the shield indicate this coin is from Syria: 25 piastres, only issued with this design in 1968.

#8: Egypt (UAR) 10 piastres 1967.

#9: Egypt 10 piastres 1972.

#10: Syria 2½ piastres. Can't read the date.

#11: Egypt 10 milliemes 1973, I believe.

#12: Egypt (monarchy - King Farouk) 5 milliemes 1938.

#13 and #14: both are Egypt 5 piastres, the larger one is older (1992), the smaller one newer (2004).

#15: Egypt (as you could probably guess from the pyramids) 1 piastre 1984. These "pyramid coins" come in two varieties, one with the AD date on the left of the toughra, the other with the AD date on the right. This one is "AD to right".

#16: Egypt 5 piastres 1984, I think the AD date is to the left.

#17: Egypt 5 piastres 1984, a different type with the same date. This type also has two varieties, "shaded denomination numeral" and "unshaded numeral". I think yours is "unshaded".

#18: Egypt 50 piastres, 2005 I think.

#19: the "Camel Post" has long been a symbol of Sudan, ever since it was used on their first postage stamps, though the current regime there no longer uses it. Sudan 5 millim, I can't read the date (below the camel, in AH and AD dates) but it will be between 1956 and 1969.

#20: Iraq 50 fils 1982, featuring the "Bull of Babylon".

#21: Egypt 25 piastres 1993

#22: Egypt 5 milliemes 1973, I believe.

#23: Libya 50 dirhams 1979

#24: Egypt (UAR) 5 piastres 1967.

Whew. Next time, not so many coins per post, please? I worry this computer will crash just before I hit "submit", and lose a couple hours of work...
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
