the doubling is most readily seen on the eagle wings and US of A lettering, but can also be seen under eagle chin and denomination letters.

It is MD, the devices are REDUCED in size a shelf like appearance, and notice here, the most shows on the "highest" devices. When a slight movement is made laterally during the bounce, the "deepest" incuse elements are what is affected, the edge of the die device catches on that.

yes, I remembered it right. that shelf-like appearance. plus I saw no notches. that's the graphic I saw elsewhere.

Does not look like a die crack,looks like a struck through debris. A die crack would be raised on the coin and yours looks indented.
