Nice find sr. Spanish Colonel is always nice to see. It looks to be in VF condition at worst. I would start by going through a TPG, but not all TPG accept Colonel. In fact the only noted one is the PCGS> they could raise the value of this coin substantially and you could be in the hundreds if not just short of the grand mark. Thank you, the assayer is "L" don't know if that makes a difference on the value?

That makes a little more sense. Upon digging ,your coin is a 1535-1570 L Luis Rodriquez. It has no significance juxtaposed via the G, F, P, or R. Only that it's the last of the series before the Phillip II . It's pure silver if I'm thinking correct, and should shine up nicely.

My advice is pay the little bit extra if your going to be sending it into TPG but you can do it yourself using a little soaking power and elbow grease.

@noah, first welcome to CCF. Second, I would definitely not "shine up" this coin. Send it in for authentication if that is what you would like, but do not clean it.
