You were just doing your patriotic duty to stimulate the U. S. economy.
Just remember that you are now obligated to not complain if she spends above HER budget.

What do you mean with the 1886? No 1886 business strike 3CNs were issued, only 4,290 proofs were minted(third highest proof mintage of the series)

Very Nice! The Morgan's are especially nice from what I can see. Do we want to know what you spent, or should we just trust the fact that your wife is going to kill you.

The Three Cent piece is not an 1886, it is either a 65 or a 66. The fourth digit is rather odd. It doesn't really look like a 5 but it doesn't seem to have the upper curve and ball of a 6. It looks more like a pointed tail 6 which they didn't use on this series.

Looks like the 3CN is 1865. Did you get a good deal on everything?

Conder101, That's what made me believe that it was an 1886 in the first place! But after look a while the 8 turned into a 6 but still cant explain the last digit!!

For what its worth, if you look in the background of the 3CN pic it looks like the 3rd digit is a 6 on the holder. The 4th digit on the coin does look odd to me too.

So, I'll ask.....let's have a price breakdown on what you spent here on each coin or as a whole !!........maybe you got some good deals that could spare the wife wrath !
