Great pix! But...MDD, classic Master Die Doubling. Here's Coop's layout: BUT...let's take another look at the L of LIBERTY...working on it...Show me the lower leg of the 2 Listed as 1972 DDO-010 on varietyvista.com. NOW, the IGWT on this example IS MDD and not a doubling that should be attributed to this listing. The doubling should be see on the L, as is with ths extra material and nub on top. It should have indication above the upper side end of 2.

Thanks Crazyb0, I was looking myself and noticed the 1964-P CONECA DDO-022/WDDO-007 is a match on the "L"...

Your coin is the Doubled Master Die, nearly all 1972 cents have this. The doubling on the L is also from the doubled master die.

Dude, the nub on yours is shorter, makes a difference, and wrong date

http://goccf.com/t/305936#2619495Thanks CrazyB0; trying to make sure I am clear so I can understand it... If an "L" with a nub is considered a DDO in '64 Are you saying the same nubbed "L" can't be the same type of error/DDO in another year? AND or OR the length of the nub determines whether or not it meets the criteria for a DDO? I realized my example was from another year but I wanted to show the similarity to see if that mattered. Thanks
