1. found in coins from bank
2. coin is cupped, concave on reverse.
3. all devices seen in lower profile, hardly above field.
4. all devices surrounded with raised ridge, raised above field and rest of letter.
5. What caused this?
6. Does it have a name?

Thanks

If this is a " Dryer Coin", why is the edge smooth with copper on it? Dryer Coins I have found all look like someone hammered the whole edge with a tiny ballpeen hammer.
Please tell me how a dryer will put a raised ridge around all the letters and numbers? Including the inside of the "O"? Seems to me this was a strike problem, but how? Letters filled with grease? Oil?
The coin is cupped and the wear on Linc's head is high side of obverse. The rim on the reverse is worn since it is higher than the center. Seems to me this is just wear/damage from coin counting mochines.Which we have all seen. [almost tossed this coin as such until I took a better look at it]
What I really would like to know is how the edges of all the letters and number got a raised ridge, raised above field AND letter, while the centers of the letters got depressed?
Coin weighs 2.5 grams...
Thanks for your input.
