Great post. It is true that many use the term whizzing too loosely for a lack of learning all the differences. I have been working on a series to further explain the differences in cleaning. I picked the Lincoln series as a starter. I have coins soaking in various liquids and powders to demonstrate the various effects. If anyone here wants access to this info when it is done, please let me know.
I would love to see that information posted here, ND. With descriptions of what you used and pics, this would be a great way to help us all successfully recognize a tampered-with coin.
