Appears to be a Die Clash before Mouth and above Lip and between Nose on Obverse? Leaf of Reverse? Any thoughts? Thanks.

I think it is more of a strike through issue than a clashed die.the area in question does not match with reverse design.

Looks like a polishing mark that tried to cover a clash. You can see the clash mark on the brow, and the top of the hair line. It was partly removed, but not all. Near the 'L' area on LIBERTY the rough look on that area looks like Struck Through Grease with a little grit in it. The grit may have caused the lines when the grease was pushed on the field to just under the 'L'? But not much of a premium for this unless you collect clashes. First time I seen this before though.

Thanks for verifing Chase007 and Coop. First time I have seen this type also. I have held onto everything that I have listed here in the CCF.

Well they tried to remove everything they could see. But they need to use our overlays to see where the fields and the design borders meet. That is where you look.
