I think that the grade is fine, some people might give it 64, I think 65 is fine.

Accurately graded. Note that toning is a subjective assignment that does not change the technical grade, but does affect eye appeal and value.
Technical grade + Eye Appeal = Value.

Those are terrible images. How does someone expect to sell that dime with those?

I don't believe that it's MS. There's dings and scratches and what appears to be minimal wear in the hair and eyebrow

I have no doubt that the coin is a 65. I would trust this seller and ICCS before I would trust people offering an opinion who have not seen the coin in hand.

Me too! LOL. Guess I had best try for a few more pictures. I think I will let my reputation and that of ICCS stand on their own merits. Any one who has ever purchased a coin from me knows they receive properly graded coins and top notch service complete with 14 day return privileges. This coin is no exception. In hand it is shall we say ..... in the Grade and a Gem. My reputation is far too important to do someone over for a couple of hundred dollars.

Im surprised all the comments saying that is not an MS coin. Toning certainly can be subjective as well as distracting. Even with the pictures being what they are it still seems well within the ballpark of MS65. The blazing luster is apparent in the first two photos and the detail is better seen in the last photo. I would rather have a crappy image then a doctored image. I'm sure it's lovely in hand Pacificoin.

And keep in mind that the pictures are through two layers of plastic which noticeably softens the details.

Pacific ... I KNOW that you are an accurate grader of coins and a good, honest, reputable dealer. My problem with these threads asking for grading help (to be read on a computer screen) is that they are always extremely misleading because of the optics involved. I don't see how people can even get within 5 points for a raw coin and within 10 through plastic. You try to look at the fields to get a good indication, but even that fails to let you know what's there and what's not. The only way to even come close to an accurate grade is to have it in your hot little hands.

I have no problem with the grade. In fact it's a very nice coin, I looked at the pictures, original surfaces, full luster.
I don't see why people have to approach topics from such a cranky standpoint on this forum. If one doesn't understand the surface of the coin- ask the seller, and maybe make a post asking for opinions in a non leading and bias fashion.
Okie, the members here consistently nail grades to the exact numerical grade.

Quote: Me too! LOL. Guess I had best try for a few more pictures. I'm really surprised to see those photos from you.. It looks more like a watercolour painting that anything taken with a quality camera. The photos are a joke if trying to represent what a 65 looks like.. ..but that dime is every bit a gem..You just have to take the time to show the fields and true surfaces. ..and then the proper accolades will pour in..

I have purchased from PacificCoin before, excellent service and graded perfect in my opinion but, I agree with Devlec, the photos don't really do this coin justice.
