Hello All,
going through some LMC and found this Greaser.
Really greased filled on obverse, has some on reverse also. (question after pics)

Have a question - I have seen lots of Grease Filled Dies. Why do they mostly show up in United States of America but rarely have I seen it in One Cent?

That area is prone to be overpolished rather than greased

I vaguely remember reading on the CCF that this U.S. of A. area of the coin is likely to have a lack of definition due to the thick lower bust on the obverse. This makes sense to me in instances of over polished dies and light planchets.
Rest in Peace

That poor coin is tough to categorize as to cause.
