I believe what I am seeing is a combination of post mint damage, and zinc corrosion. The pictures came through a little dark so I can't tell for sure.

I'm going w/ Zinc corrosion as well - looks like the typical bubbling that occurs when that happens. Die breaks are normally more sharp.
