coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/28/2018 2:59 pm Just damage to the mint mark. Also note the die scratches in the fields behind the mint mark. Checking on PCGS, there was an issue with a damaged punch that year. (note the example on coppercoins 1968S-1MM-002) That image shows the mint mark punch damage on that year that varied according to the age of the mint mark punch.
