Thanks, Coinfrog. The BEP surprised me. I thought I'd have another couple of weeks. I wanted to get some black paper to cover the brown cardboard on the sides.

Yep the BEP is pretty quick to ship AND it's free! Nice sheet of deuces, ron.

The minute they went on sale, I ordered 2 @ 50 Subject Sheets.
When I received them, I decided to pull the 2013 dated sheet and in keeping with the COPE Uncut Sheet format used on all other denominations, trimmed all three 50 subject sheets into Four Subject Sheets.
With the additional "I & J" Plate positions Notes not printed on COPE, and with serial numbers no longer printed above 96000000, I made Error Notes that Match (exactly) my Genuine Cutting Errors.
This was NOT done to deceive anyone, and when I'm done doing what needs to be done, I will post a Thread explaining everything.
PCGS and PMG will receive a PDF File showing each 'Fake' error & photos of Both Notes before & after trimming so none of my Notes ever get Certified as Genuine after it leaves my hands.
I was totally against this at first, but since there seems to be a demand on the Internet for them, I thought "why not!", since what leaves my hands is done with 100% precision in size.
Until I'm ready to post here, not one picture will be taken & posted, not even on Facebook.
Before forming an opinion on this, I would request others refrain from negative comments until they view the thread (sometime in the near future).
A1 Plate Position serial numbers on both sheets are *F35394015A & *F35394018A should anyone want to track the number of uncut sheets entering circulation.
*- If you place a decimal point between the last four serial number digits, (40.15 or 40.18 above) and round Up to the next Whole Number (41), you will see that Plate Position A1 is the 41st Plate Position on the 50 subject sheet. The new 50 subject LEPE overprinting format had taken the fun out of matching serial number to sheet plate position on the notes.

Interesting project, B-C. I can't tell from your thread what you intend to do with the "errors" once you've submitted your photos to the TPGs and posted about them.
This could probably be broken out to start your Thread.

Quote: This was NOT done to deceive anyone... Based on this statement, I would presume that when you attempt to sell the ten 4 note sheets and the 5 "error" notes you get from the 50 note sheet that you will disclose that these were not made by the BEP but were your own handiwork. Also, from the BEP's websiteQuote: Defacement of Currency
Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. and creating intentional error notes might be considered as having the Quote: ...intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued... The Secret Service has visited folks in the past because of what they posted for sale on ebay. Just something to think about.

I'm still in the early stages of doing this & can guarantee extra caution is used so they cannot be sold as genuine error notes.

Thanks for reprinting that law, BadDog. I thought there had to be a defacement law to protect govt property. Don't understand why some people say it's ok to write on notes. As for what Broken-Coin has in mind, you've done the right thing by giving fair warning. Problem is that Broken-Coin's intentions may be harmless but once the notes leave his hands, no telling what the next guy will do.
