Found this 1995-P cent tonight with probably a chip near the bottom of the 9. Looking for thoughts.

Just saw that on CWB's site http://www.Lincolncentsonline.com He had a pic of something like that. What it was was a grease plug that had come out and got imbedded on the die. Cant find the link that was put up earlier today, darn, was an error nor seldom heard of. I'll look somemore.

Sent pictures to COC and they verified it was a die chip. Also said small IDB " Die Chips" > 4 sq mm will no longer be listed unless they are in a very unusual location. FYI.

If you haven't tried pressing it down with a toothpick, it might be gas. If solid, (it is raised) then a gouge/die chip may have happened to the field of the die.
