Can someone help me identify if this is a true error and if it is if its worth anything.

I noticed the weird coloration around the crack and was wondering if it was post mint or something that happened during the minting process.

You may have some gunk stuck to the coin. Try using a toothpick to see of you can dislodge it. I would also recommend soaking it in acetone to see if you can remove the gunk that has discolored it.

It doesn't really resemble any error I know of.

It needs to be soaked in acetone for sure. Did you notice the Machine Doubling on the date?
