Both are the same grade. Both look nice in my opinion, leaning toward the 1843. Should I roll with one of these, or continue my search ? My motto type is below 1871

I like the 1860-O.

I am trying to decide myself on a No Motto Dollar, similar situation, one dark toned, one lighter toned. With yours in the OP;

I like the originality of the 1860-O, although I don't like the holder (I am biased towards having my coins in PCGS holders), but I would cross it over.

On the other side of the coin, the 1843 is more like your With Motto Dollar, tone wise, and it is already in PCGS plastic.

Nice coins to choose from!

I would prefer the 1860-O.
Only drawback is the darker toning.

To me, the '43 has more life than the '60-O, so I'll lean that way. Both are certainly appealing.

I prefer the '43 or '71. The '71 may have had an old cleaning, however, so I'll go with the '43.

Thanks everyone! I loved the look of the 1871. Just tough to find one like it. I may go with the 1843. It seems the closest patina wise.
