I looked at other DDR Nickels and this looked like it; enlarging, notches and contours with light/shadow...
Probably wrong but looks like it to me...thoughts?

The letter U's appear to be reduced in thickness, not doubled. So I am thinking its MD.

It appears to be a DDR since there is notching and separation lines. One thing to keep in mind is Machine Doubling can occur on a genuine Doubled Die. It has happened to me before on some of my Doubled Dies I've found.
