The VDB is incuse, that's why it looks odd with MD. The reverse on your coin is not a DDR. I see no notch on the LB.
Check doubleddie.com
There is no 2016 Denver there, but you can see doubled die for reference.

The devices are normal ion shape. A few contact marks will confuse the issue. But no notching or spread. So it is not a doubled die as John1 mentioned. Doubled dies experience a spread of devices. On the 2006 doubled dies, you can often see just one area affected and the rest normal in shape. But when a spread is noticed, the devices look altered in shape. So the best way to learn what to look for, here are a collection of the dies from coppercoins that show what I'm talking about. Note how they are altered by hub doubling. The obvious distortion of some devices and others not affected on the same coin. I put these together to help see them side by side when searching the many for this year. The black spaces are images that were missing on coppercoins. Hope this helps to see where to look when searching for doubled dies. An not just look for what appears as notching, but see the altered devices. Also note the centers of the devices, how they are also altered.

Looks like MD. You should start a new thread for each coin you have a question about.
