The $10 note is interesting, keep it if you can. But in my opinion, both notes aren't really special and are spenders.

Yes. Very cool examples. My eyes are now peeled. I need to find a handful of notes I've got with neat serial numbers. Now where is that 'safe' place I put them?

If the $10 ended with 9 then you would have had a binary (not a true binary), and it would have also been a 6/8. In my opinion both are spenders, but what makes this hobby great is having new people that are interested in finding fancy serial numbers, and this hobby is free. Just trade straps for straps at your local Credit Union or bank, and don't forget to check that change.

Jjz1234 I agree those particular serial numbers are not keepers but there are so many ways you can find interesting ones. In addition to the great samples that clarenze30 has, you can look for birth dates, anniversary dates, historical dates, favorite numbers, lottery numbers, high serial numbers, low ones, you get the idea. An example of a birth date of May 2, 1980 would be: A05021980B
