Hi first time here. I found a 1956 Wheat penny that weighs 2.5 and all the rest weigh 3.1 Does anyone know why? Thank you

 Depends on lots of things. Is it worn so much it may have just lost weight? It would help a lot if you could post a photo of that coin.

It looks to me like it has been in something acidic. That would explain the lost weight.
