Hello , Looking forward to talking to y'all. Can some one tell me if this 1999 Penny has a die error? It runs across the Lincoln's left shoulder and under LIBERTY.

Could you take some pics that are more close up and then crop them to show only the coin? You can do this with the Free Image Optimizer here on CCF.

to the forum. Best I can do... Note the YELLOW arrow, this is just a scratch, Post Mint Damage, see the metal pushed up? The RED LEFT is a slight MAD (misaligned die strike) which has caused a higher pressure to make a rim finning second rim appearance RED RIGHT. Neither are considered Mint errors.

The mark on the rim at 3:00 looks like a flattened fin in that area. Can't tell for sure on the LIBERTY issue. If it raised, it may just be a gas bubble. If it is incuse (pressed into the coin) then it might be coin damage. the 9:00 area may just be dioe deterioration next the rim area.

Here's new pictures of the line along Lincoln's shoulder. I can't take a wider picture of that section due to the magnifier side.
