In an effort to avoid the "coup" , we are considering expanding the Aussie section to its own category and breaking it down into sections. We feel that this may make our Aussie members more comfortable here. This would, in essence, remove the Aussie section from the World Coin section and the proposed section breakdown would be:

MAIN AUSSIE FORUM
VARIETY AND ERROR COINS
GOLD CIRCULATION COINS
BULLION COINS
TOKENS AND MEDALLIONS
AUSTRALIAN BANKNOTES

I am interested in hearing any input from our Aussie friends. If you have suggestions other than the sections above, please post them. We want to make this section easier and more user-friendly for you. All input will be considered.

Can you add an "Indiana Aussie Friends" section as we are thinking about joining Australia as their next state before they flood the place with more dead presidents! Actually that was just a loose use of the word FLOOD as finding anything new in the banks around here will be like finding hair on a frog!

The main collecting habits of Australian Coins do fall into two categories Pre decimal and Decimal
with in the decimal are are the NCLT coins which could also include the coins and the PNCs

I do not think it is necessary to break it down to the Perth and RAM and other Mints

What do the rest of you think?

Yes RG...you are correct there. I feel a dedicated section with just the following categories will more than meet the needs of the few diggers we have here.

Predecimals
Decimals
Varieties & Errors
Banknotes
Tokens,Medallions & Books

Any categories more than the above will be seldom used as is evident on the Aussie Forum.

Just my thoughts.....Happy New YEar

This new section looks great. Many thanks Susan/Admin for this new revamp playground. We have called off the "coup"...in fact you have delivered the "coup de grace".

Thanks actually go to Bobby on this one. I was lazing around on the couch when he did it.

Thanks for being so on-top-of-things and getting the reorganization done so quickly, RG!
