Hello out there! Recently ran across this while searching a bank bag. Assume it is something added to the surface, but wanted to share. The added material matches very well color wise and does not seem to be able to come off or be seperated.
Thanks for looking!

Not a mint error. No harm in asking.

Keep searching -- there's stuff out there waiting to be found.

@BR7, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with the others that you have some sort of glue stuck on this coin. It is only worth face value and can be spent.

To CCF! Not a Mint error. Just PMD (Post Mint Damage). It clearly glue and will come off doing a Acetone soak. It can be safely spent since it's only worth face value.

Thanks for the warm welcome and fast responses! Looks like I will be buying some acetone tomorrow. Would like to see if that does anything to it. Only problem now, is I took this picture about 3 months ago and don't remember where I put this coin.
Once I find it and soak it, I will post the results!

That would be super-cool--we love before and after pics.
