Looks like a Chinese Charm coin, used mainly for fengshui.

Front words are a blessing that translates to Fortune, Long Life, Good Health, Peace.
Back reads something like welcoming fortune into the house.

Do you know what one would do, with a charm such as this, traditionally.
Is it something a person is given when moving into a new home, maybe? For example
Scottish tradition when building a new home, Iron would be placed under the hearthstone with a prayer for blessing the house.
Just wondering?
