Need a shield with rays. This coin has some good detail, but the color is peculiar for this type...no? There is also a small blob on the cross. Thoughts?

Have you looked closely at that spot on the reverse? Looks like it might come off.

Shield nickels go up in price fairly slowly until AU.

It shouldn't be much more expensive to find an EF.

I don't know if I'd want to try; success would turn it from a "dirty" spot to a "clean" spot. Still a spot.
