Bought a lot of foreign coins (about $30 US melt in silver) and a bunch of 19th & 20th century copper coins for $40. Including these three 3 pence. Do they have any numismatic value in this grade, or are they just melt? By the way, the coppers included a Guernsey 1834 8 doubles (obverse needs a bath in acetone to remove the glue) and Jersey 1878 1/24 shilling (the latter would be VG in US grading).

The 1916 looks to be in okay condition, and possibly the 1944 is a little scarce (from 1937 a dodecagonal threepence was phased in).

!944 is considered a key date. Coin Year Book values it at £7 in Fine. The official mintage figure was 2,005,553 but it's estimated that about a third of these were never issued an were melted down. A great find!

I believe 1942 to 44 were mainly issued in the colonies like wise the 1950 & 51 1d's.
