Is there any red flags or would you consider this genuine? I was looking on wildwinds but I guess I just dont have a good eye for spotting a fake or genuine yet.

Looks legit to me. Borderline slug though due to excessive wear.
Another resource you need to use is this:

Viewing the fake reports there will help you develop a better eye, though many of them still fool me. :(

thanks jskirwin. Its just theres so many variations of it its hard to tell if its fake or real

I know its kinda worn but I actually prefer that-i mean think about it- the only reason for owning a coin is becuase its a piece of history- well a pristine augustus coin is just as old as a worn augustus coin. plus the less pristine ones are cheaper and look more authentic.

its harder to fake a coin when it has that kind of wear and corrosion and pitting. not impossible- but alot harder
