@Bobby, I will start by saying that this is a really minor point so please disregard if you have anything better to do.

Often times when I reply to a post, I start typing in the reply box at the bottom of the thread. Then, sometimes, I am looking to add an emoticon so I hit the "switch to full reply" button. When this happens, the cursor has moved to the very start of my reply rather than staying wherever in the text that I previously was (typically at the end). At that point, if I click on a smiley face or whatever, the emoticon is added to the very front of my post rather than wherever I was intending it to be. When this happens, I highlight and delete the emoticon, click on the correct area of text, and then re-add the emoticon to this correct location.

Not being a computer guy myself, I wonder if it is possible to have the cursor stay in the same point of the text when making that transition to Full Reply? Or perhaps you have purposefully made this happen to the cursor for some reason that isn't clear to me? Thanks!

I believe this was commented on before, but I don't recall the result. But if its happening as you describe, it wasn't changed. Of course, if you have an emoticon you use lots. Remember the characters to produce it. Like [up] =
or my favorite [d-orange] =

Ah good point. I didn't even think to search if someone else had brought this up. I do see this prior thread, but that was to move the cursor from the emoticons to the text:

It was a different thread I believe. I did a quick search, but didn't find it.
Rest in Peace

Also I would like to add to spences' thread : Is it possible to change the location of ''subscription to post'' . I find it too close to reply to post . I often hit this by mistake and wind up getting unwanted e-mails about other members replying to that particular thread .
