Quote: As far as I know, this is the only way to reach Dansco...
Dansco Corporation (323) 734-6373 4313 W Jefferson Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90016 Good tip. Yes, the same address that's in the back of our albums. Maybe we should all give them a call or start a letter writing campaign. If I lived near LA, I would take a drive over there and jump on someones desk! Update: Never mind! Disregard my last. I just took a drive there on google earth street view. I think I just answered my own question. Unbelievable! You should see this place. I see what the problem is now! If I went there I'd probably get shot! From the looks of this place (company), we should all be very fortunate just to have Danscon albums! Again, UNBELIEVABLE!!

I'm obviously way behind the curve on this Dansco stuff. Nuff said:

Ty88 - I bought one from LCS fairly recently and they had others. They're closed today but I could call and find out if they still have some in stock. I'm sure they'd be more expensive than Amazon, though.

I'll keep my eyes open for you also.
Haven't been to our LCS lately but I will look when I go next time.

Simple solution. Switch to Whitman Albums

Quote: Whitman Albums I have a Whitman Large cent album. I like the fact it is just a date set album without all the varieties of a Dansco but I don't like the holes are bigger than the coins and I have to "shim" them in with a small piece of foam to prevent rattling/turning.

Quote: You're moving right along with that album 20 pcs to go - Good and bad - Good I got this far, Bad the ones left are pricey! But I did pick up an 1821 for 14.99 on ebay - I lucked out big time on that one.

I recently did something similar (regarding your shimming) with a blank small dollar Dansco page. I'm adding the page to the back of my 7070. I'll have to post it and show you.

If you think the Dansco building looks bad, check out across the street.
Anyway, I prefer Dansco over Whitman albums. They seem to be of a better quality.

I had this same issue 2-3 years ago finding the merc dansco and thinking the same thing. I ended up buying on ebay. I remember checking sites after and they were back to readily available. Maybe they only print a run every few years? I'd call around to LCS in your area that probably have a shelf of new danscos collecting dust. Someone has to have them sitting on shelf

THE dansco I ended up with on ebay was used. It just says dimes on front and has pages for all mercs through silver rosies. I like the album a lot, not sure if person I bought it from customized it and just bought by pages
