Hello All,
going through some wheaties and came across this one.

As yo can see the reverse is kinda weird. Looks like it was sanded/filed off but it is very smooth.
doesn't show signs of being filed/sanded. It is flat with the surface and not beveled.

Was thinking if it was filed/sanded, wouldn't the inside field also show some type of damage.


was thinking possible Cud - but dang that would be some Cud - lol


let me know what you think it could be.

@TT, the flat spot on the obv suggests to me that the rev rim was flattened by hammering rather than sanding or filing. However it was done, it is definitely PMD.

see what you are saying - didnt notice that before.
nice pickup- never thought of a hammer.

i know its not worth anything, but I think i'll keep it - its unusually ugly lol
