spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 02/11/2018 01:26 am It actually does look like two rim clips to me. The two are close to being opposite one another, but not exactly. Any Blakesley Effect would be absorbed by the nearby clip. They both show tapered rims which, I believe, would be very difficult to reproduce in a garage setting.
